so I calmly take my steps

into the mist to fade away.
the ocean is bottomless
and no sound is around
the sky is cloudy after dusk
and I don't want to return.
days flow away
and nothing is what it seems.
I grow tired of this life
guilty of looking forward.
carry the weight of this world
along with finality of those words
another lie to keep somebody warm
the only mind you can ever change is yours.
